On October 14, our country celebrates one of the most anticipated and heartwarming holidays – Mother's Day. On this day, all the gifts, flowers, and words of gratitude are for our wonderful mothers. They gave us life, and that is why the word "mother" is always associated with kindness, happiness, tenderness, and peace.

As part of the celebration of "The Week of Parental Love" at Grodno State Medical University, everyone was able to congratulate their beloved mothers by writing warm words of gratitude and sending them to different parts of our country through the Festive Mail Service "Write a letter to your Mother!"

One of the brightest events of "The Week of Parental Love" was the concert program "Everything on Earth is from the Mother's Hands." GRSMU’s creative groups, including international students from Sri-Lanka and India, congratulated all those who bear the proud title of “mother” and charged the staff with positive emotions and joy.

A themed exhibition "The Warmth of a Parent's Soul" was located next to the university's assembly hall. All the creative works were prepared by students and professors of GRSMU. The exhibition was initiated by the Belarusian Union of Women, headed by Nadezhda Alexeevna Mishonkova. Sergey Sergeevich Vasilevsky, Head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation, along with Yana Vitalyevna Zakonnikova, Head of the University’s Museum of History, presented "Tulips After the Rain" – an impressive photo exhibition for the female half of the population. Representatives of the Youth Wing of the Belarusian Union of Women of GRSMU greeted guests not only with their smiles but also with beautiful postcards. Adorable photos and drawings of international students and their families were presented in a separate location of the exhibition. The exposition became a vibrant symbol of the unifying power of family and an expression of gratitude towards parents. International students and their families demonstrated that distance is not important when the connection between you and your relatives is strong. All the presented exhibits immersed everyone in the festive atmosphere of warmth, tenderness, and kindness of the event.

"The Week of Parental Love" is a magnificent reminder of the importance of family values and the significance of a parental love. Mothers’ feelings know no boundaries, no cultural differences but can surely help us with all the difficulties during our unpredictable life.

Dear mothers and grandmothers! We would like to sincerely congratulate you on this special day once again. May your eyes always shine with happiness, joy, and pride for your children! You are like a real treasure that each of us will adore and protect throughout our lives!
