Graduates 2024. Khetani Khilan Rajeshbhai: “Thank you to the Grodno State Medical University for filling my soul with dear and valuable memories!”

17 june 2024 — 16:35

Namaste!!  Myself, Khetani Khilan Rajeshbhai of class 2024.

I come from the incredible country "India". I was the leader of my group for 6 years of course, competed for the title of best student at University in 2024, represented my community, represented all India parents association Belarus Medical Students and participated in many other different co-curricular activities.

First and foremost, I am grateful to God, my parents, all previous Rectors, current Rector, Vice Rector, Dean , Vice Dean and all the assistants in Dean's office as well as all the professors for providing me the opportunity to study medicine and playing vital role in my medical career.

As I stand on the verge of my graduation in a few days, I can't help but reminisce on the fantastic ride I've experienced over the course of last six years. It all feels like it just happened in the blink of an eye, as if it were yesterday. I recall my first steps here in Belarus, Minsk airport in the year 2018, when a chilled breeze of air of October 10th gave me goosebumps.

How will I manage everything!? Will I be able to study effectively, comprehend Russian, prepare meals for myself, adjust in unfamiliar surroundings? But none of this could deter me because I had a clear objective in my mind: to become one of the finest doctors possible, getting a step closer to my dream of becoming an Oncosurgeon.

In 6 years, all my colleagues and I got to learn our human body, from the basic structure of biochemical molecules to the more complex anatomical parts and how to deal with all types of diseases that affect us in various ways, from diagnosing them, to procedures on treating them.

With all of this education,Grodno State Medical University provided an overall environment for developing oneself in all the aspects of life from organising blood donation camps, cultural, sports, olympiads and other co-curricular activities, crafting the best doctors in the world and making me the person I am today.

Thank you Grodno State medical University for filling my bag with all these cherishable and treasured memories of 6 years.
