Honours Board Students on their goals, dreams, and accomplishments: Ahamioje Omosenobua Precious
My name is Ahamioje Omosenobua Precious. I am a Nigerian and a 4th year student of the Faculty of International Students of Grodno State Medical University.
I enjoy reading all kinds of books, novels, watching movies (especially kdramas), eating a lot, socializing and living my best life.
All my life I have always wanted to be a doctor. And it was shocking to me why, because the only doctors in my family are my extended relatives. But I was always drawn to the aspect of the human anatomy. I remember when my parents bought me the Ben Carson books. I was so enthralled and captivated by it and my passion for medicine grew.
I don’t just want to be a medical doctor. I want to be a great surgeon who is sought after and I want to own my own hospital.
My zeal for these has always made me thrive to be the best. While in this school, I realized that there a lot of people just as great and with the same zeal. But as a Christian I have never been discouraged, I simply put my trust in God and allow him lead me.
Grodno State Medical University is serving as a stepping stone to the goals I set for myself and for that I am forever grateful. One thing I am also grateful for is that in this university I’m not only growing academically, but all round and I have learned to be involved in a community and coexist with people of different backgrounds.
I hope that when I graduate from this school my vision will be attainable and my parents will be proud of me. I will most especially give back to my parents and to God. They have been the pillars that strengthen me when I feel weak.
I will continue to study hard and play hard. And forever live my best life.
