Honours Board Students on their goals, dreams, and accomplishments: Uthpala Damindri Jayasuriya

I am Uthpala Damindri Jayasuriya a Final Year Medical Student at Grodno State Medical University pursing my dream of becoming a Doctor. I remember the days of my childhood as a little doctor I treated my grandmother during my play time. It was, it is and it will be my ambition.

Everyday knowledge is growing, especially the medical sciences. Therefore I always study and learn for my life. And Also I love self-learning and seeking knowledge and also to teach and share my knowledge with others. Being a medical student has been a difficult but incredibly rewarding journey. As I reminisce about the memories of the past five years.

For all of these blessings throughout my entire journey I would like to thank Specially My Almighty God, my parents, teachers, our respected Dean Alexander Alexandrovich Stenko, respected Vice Deans L.N.Hushchyna and Z.P.Lemeshevskaya, Dean's office, university staff, senior students, friends and well-wishers for supporting me and guiding me.

I have grown so much over the years, working through challenges, building incredible friendships, and learning throughout my medical journey. Sometimes, I reflect on my early years and wish I could tell myself to do things differently to help me with difficult times.

Dedicate yourself to your studies with unwavering determination, so that one day you can confidently say, 'Trust me, I am your doctor.' Pursue your dreams wholeheartedly, have faith in your abilities, and never lose sight of your goals. Remember, “Perseverance is key to achieving success”.
