Prof. Snezhitskiy, Viktor Aleksandrovich

Rector of the Educational Institution “Grodno State Medical University” since June 2010.

“Description of pulmonary and systemic hemodynamics at effective doses of sustac and anaprilin in patients with ischemic heart disease” (Cand. Sc. degree, 1998). “Dysfunction of sinus node (bradicardias, bradiarrthythmias): electrophysiological mechanisms of pathogenesis, classification, clinical picture, differential diagnosis” (Dr. Sc. degree, 2006).

Under the supervision of Prof. Viktor Snezhitskiy five Ph.D. theses were defended. He is currently research adviser on four Ph.D. theses. Prof. Viktor Snezhitskiy is the author of some 300 scientific works, including 5 monographs, 5 textbooks for students, 12 patents for inventions. His research is devoted to arterial hypertension treatment, ischemic heart disease, circulatory deficiency and cardiac dysrhythmia.

Prof. Viktor Snezhitskiy is Highest Category Board Certified Cardiologist. He is a member of the Academic Senate of the Grodno State Medical University. Prof. Viktor Snezhitsky is a Presidium board member of the Belarusian Scientific Society of Cardiologists, a member of the European Society of Cardiology, an editorial board member of 5 scientific medical journals.

Dr. Sc. (Med.). Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine I. His research is devoted to arterial hypertension treatment, ischemic heart disease, circulatory deficiency and cardiac dysrhythmia.
