The Purpose of the panel discussion was to elaborate strategies for sustainable healthy lifestyle provision among medical students.
The main objectives were the following

The students prepared interesting presentations which contained topical scientific data on the importance of healthy lifestyle, presented the results of the questionnaire survey on the problems of a healthy lifestyle among students, and emphasized the characteristics and attitudes towards healthy lifestyle in their own countries.
The presentations aroused genuine interest among the students of various cultures. The discussion demonstrated that the students were aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle, possessed reliable scientific information that they were willing to share, and most of them followed the basic rules of healthy lifestyle.
The goals and objectives of the event were achieved. The students liked this format of communication with the representatives of other cultures. In addition, Belarusian students were given a real opportunity to apply their knowledge and communication skills in a foreign language on professional topics.
The participants of the panel discussion expressed a desire to continue the practice of communicating in English with the representatives of other cultures on other topics, such as medical education, health care, etc.
