Results of the Olympiad of Physiological Knowledge “Computer Marathon 2019”

The final stage of the Olympiad of physiological knowledge “Computer Marathon 2019” took place at the Department of Normal Physiology on June 5, 2019. Previously, a distance-qualifying round was conducted through the educational platform “MOODLE”, posted on the Web page of our university, attended by more than 300 students from all faculties (more than 55 percent of the total number of students). It is worth noting the high activity of students of the faculty of foreign students (with the English language of instruction).

 

According to the results of the distance qualifying round, the best 67 students, who scored the highest percentage, took part in the subsequent stages of the Olympiad. 26 students with a Russian language of instruction and 5 foreign students with the English language of instruction reached the final.

 

The results of the Olympiad confirm the importance of this form of education in creating motivation for mastering the subject “Normal Physiology”, which is the theoretical basis of medicine. Participation in such an intellectual competition gives students the opportunity to test their knowledge, show skills and test themselves in the conditions of competition.
