The department is attended by 4th, 5th and 6th year students of the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Foreign Students, the Faculty of Medical Diagnostics, and students of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology undergo outpatient practice within the specialty "Nursing". The curriculum "Outpatient Therapy" includes various sections of internal medicine: pulmonology, cardiology, rheumatology, nephrology, gastroenterology, as well as emergency care in outpatient settings.

Disciplines of the department: Polyclinic therapy, Geriatrics and Nursing

Educational and methodological plans for practical classes, lectures, a list of practical skills for all subordinate therapists have been prepared. Curricula for outpatient therapy have been developed and approved.

Since 2017, the department has been training scientific and pedagogical personnel through clinical residency in the preparation of general practitioners, including for foreigners.

The department staff has published 8 educational programs with a course of lectures on outpatient therapy, an optional cycle for 4th-year students of the medical and foreign students' faculty on gerontology and geriatrics, and industrial practice for 4th-year students.

Over the past 5 years, the department has published 4 educational manuals, 3 of which have the EMA stamp. Of these, 1 manual is in English with the EMA stamp. Methodological recommendations - 1.
