On November 15, 2022 the interuniversity international scientific conference in the format of round table “Problems of comorbidity of iron deficiency and endocrinopathies” organized by the Department of Endocrinology of Kursk State Medical University (Kursk, Russia) and the Department of Internal Medicine I Grodno State Medical University was held.

The conference was attended by the Head of the  Department of Internal Medicine I of GrSMU, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Deshko M.S. with the report “The state of iron metabolism of patients with chronic heart failure”, Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Zukhovitskaya E.V. with the report “Iron overload syndrome in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in patients with diabetes mellitus” and senior lecturer of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences Doroshkevich I.P. with the report “Type 2 diabetes mellitus and metabolic associated fatty disease in patients with COVID-19: features of clinical and laboratory parameters”.


May 30, 2022 M.D., professor, the head of the Department of Psychiatry of Kursk state medical university Plotnikov D.V. presented a lecture “Psychopharmacology” to the 4th and 6th year students of the Faculty of Mental Health Medicine of GrSMU.


May 24, 2022 M.D., professor, distinguished physician of the Russian Federation, presidium member of the Russian Scientific Society of Therapists, the head of the Department of Internal Diseases No.2 of Kursk State Medical University Mikhin V.P. gave a lecture “Modern principles of differentiated therapy of hyperlipidemias” for the students of the Faculty of advanced training and retraining of GrSMU.
