DREAMS COME TRUE

On January 9, 2025, students of Grodno State Medical University took part in the event “Christmas Tree of Wishes” by the Red Cross, which was held in the Grodno State Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity. International students of the university together with members of the Presidium of the Belarusian Red Cross, representatives of enterprises and organizations presented the young participants of the event with gifts that the children dreamed of.

Giving a fairy tale to children from large, single-parent and guardian families, children with disabilities is a good tradition, in which students and staff of the university have been participating for several years.

“Medgive” volunteers of the Students Unions from the Faculty for International Students, members of BWU and the youth wing of the university wanted to fulfill the wishes of special children. The children wrote letters to Ded Moroz, and Red Cross volunteers helped to collect them in the “Christmas Tree of Wishes”, our students helped to realize these wishes. Every community, youth wing and BSW members were able to become good magicians and give a fairy tale to those who especially need it.
