LET'S CELEBRATE NAVRUZ-BAYRAM TOGETHER!

22 march 2024 — 12:40

Nowruz, the day of the vernal equinox, is celebrated as the beginning of the new year by more than 300 million people around the world and has been celebrated for more than 3,000 years in the Balkans, Middle East, Caucasus, Central Asia, the Black Sea basin and other regions. Navruz, also Nauryz, is a holiday of the arrival of spring and the New Year according to the astronomical solar calendar among the Iranian and Turkic peoples. Nowruz is an international tradition that is not related to Islamic customs.

Today, in honor of this holiday, our students prepared sweet flour products – peshme, or, as people call them, donuts.
