New Year Celebration

Sri Lankan students with their foreign friends came together to celebrate the Sinhala and Tamil New Year on April 14^th. The event was a beautiful celebration of Sri Lankan culture and tradition, filled with traditional dances, dramas, games, and more. One of the most exciting events of the day was the crowning of the New Year Prince and Princess.

Vice Dean Curator of the Sri Lankan Students Association, Liudmila Nikolaevna, was also present at the event to share her greetings for the New Year. She spoke about the importance of preserving Sri Lankan culture and tradition, and how events like this help bring people together and promote understanding and friendship between different cultures.
