Matriculation ceremony for international students held at GrSMU

The matriculation ceremony is one of the most important events for students and a kind of welcoming, symbolizing joining in the academic community.

The matriculation is usually held at the very start of an academic year. However, this year, the Medical Faculty for International Students saw the ceremony on December 22, since the admission of international students to the first year was over at the beginning of winter.

First Vice-Rector Boltach Andrei Viktorovich, the Dean and the Vice-Dean of the Faculty Stenko Aleksander Aleksandrovich and Gushchyna Liudmila Nikolaevna, respectively, welcomed the students, congratulated them and wished them success in their academic journey and in the University’s events.

After the administration gave their speeches, each student made a solemn promise to bear a title of a student of Grodno State Medical University with pride, fulfill all necessary requirements thoroughly, and make an effort to achieve the highest results in training.   
Within the ceremony, students presented their creative performances that created unforgettable artistic atmosphere: they danced, sung national songs.  

At the ceremony, the administration and first-year students together created a special environment of cooperation and friendship. We hope it will last so within the whole upcoming year.
